Pique Assiette
Natalie Henderson, the talent behind Vintage Luxe, and a friend of mine is running some lovely workshops in Corbridge. I would go myself but am teaching my own evening class so can't!
The theme of the workshops is
"Repurpose found objects to create pique assiette mosaics"
‘pique assiette’ is the craft of re-purposing broken china, glass, jewellery, buttons - indeed any vintage ephemera - into mosaics
the finished piece often tells a story, or has a theme ...
you will learn how to source objects, nibble china, glue, grout, and complete a mosaic mirror frame and/or wooden heart
The course runs over three evenings: 7:00-9:00pm
Tuesday March 6th
Tuesday April 3rd
Tuesday May 1st
The total cost for all three sessions £60.00 - includes all materials and refreshments
to book and for further information about the course, access and facilities, please ring

Our next Fair
I am happy to announce the date of the next Vintage Fashion and Textile Fair that my friend Jayne Turner and I organise. Put Sunday May 13th in your diaries now! We have been completely booked up for some weeks now so don't contact us if you want a stall but please do come. The flier is again designed by my daughter Alice Pattullo. She is an illustrator who is now based in London. Her screen prints are being sold in outlets all over England and she is now drawing every month for COAST magazine and has recently done a redesign for Cecil Sharp House where she has a solo exhibition. Look at her blog to see what she is up to http://alice-pattullo.blogspot.com/ I can't keep up with her!
