A new appliqué
I am very lucky to be given bits and pieces to use in my work. This applique is on to the base of a beautiful old quilt fragment sent to me from Scotland.

Folk Art Flowers
This is the type of thing I will be teaching in America in September( at French General). Betty really enjoyed the planning meeting the other night as there is nothing a cat likes better than sitting on or getting under a large map. I know it is self indulgent to put pet photos on your blog but in this one she really is pointing to Los Angeles!

Lovely Lace
I have just got back from a mini break in Vienna. I felt a new project coming on when I saw this lace in the Museum of Applied Arts. Watch this space!
