Collages for Daphne

2 new collages to be exhibited next to my Daphne's Glove work in a month's time. This more abstract work is what I like doing best as it is true collage and I become totally involved in the creative process.

Lacy Collage

I have been making some new collages for the Open Studios/ Wool fair this Saturday and for my ETSY shop. Always try to have something new for people to look at. The pieces of text are from some letters that are 150 years old and I have used the original I'm afraid!

Step into Stitch

The summer school finished today. Students made piles of felt and slippers for themselves from British wool with Ellie and then I did the decorative embroidery bits with them. Think they were glad to sit down after the rigours of felt making for a few days!  Here is a picture of a piece from each of the students some slipper details and some parts of the embroidered pictures on to the flat felt.
