Toile de Jouy

My daughter Alice has created some lovely neon Toile de `Jouy prints for Crabtree and Evelyn. I love their products so it is great to see her designs on them.  Go buy some!

Joining

This afternoon I have been cutting up quilts and rejoining to create " frames" in which to work. I love over stitching an edge to an edge and ironing it out so you can see the joining stitches. Lots of tea dyeing draped all over the place too.....

Card Collages

Teeny tiny card collages with just left over bits. These are sewn together by hand, no glue involved!

Some more garden birds

Two not very wonderful photographs of some more garden birds. Again these are for sale in my ETSY shop and I will be repeating them so if you go to the shop and they are not there it means they have been sold but more are in the pipeline. I say "repeat" but because of my collage technique which uses different bits of fabric every time they are in fact all slightly different.

I am also doing some personal collage work in the studio and who knows the sun might shine enough today to get some good pics of it!

Baby it's cold outside

I think I put this image on to Facebook some time ago to hint that in a few months time I will be a Grandmother! The jacket was "found". I don't know whether it was a child's jacket or one for a doll.

Snowdrops and blue skies

This week in the UK we have seen bright blue skies, a smattering of snow and in the north the snowdrops only just starting to flower. This new range of work reflects this February scenario. Now listed on Etsy.
