Fabric flowers
I have been neglecting my etsy shop of late as I have been so busy finishing off loads of work for my display at Festival of Quilts in August. However some of you will be pleased to know I have just added a couple more of my unique fabric flowers made from old quilts. There are still 2 birds on etsy @ £20 but in August all of my appliquéd birds will be going up to £25 as I realise that combining the time it takes to make them, the cost of the materials, mounting and packing and the tax man's cut I was rather under charging!

Newsletter
I am about to send out an e-newsletter to everyone on my mailing list. If you want to receive it and future newsletters please contact me with your email address and I will copy you in. Just because you have commented on my entries at some time or another doesn't mean I have added you to my mailing list so you need to give me permission!

The Festival of Quilts
I have finished this collage today. I am planning to hang it unglazed next to the skirt below which is coming out of hibernation for The Festival of Quilts where I have a gallery space this summer. I am resurrecting a few old things but nearly all of it will be new work . If you are near Birmingham NEC 8th - 11th August please come and see my exhibition there.
This piece was made in 2008 and kick started my whole interest in what I call my "Thread and Thrift" approach to textiles.

Landscape
This piece is in the show at Farfield Mill at Sedburgh until 11th August. It started as a reflection on the landscapes of winter. Seems along time ago now with everything so green and lush!
This patchwork is actually portrait format but is shown here horizontally on the floor.
