Enchanted Forest

I have just finished these two little collages/ stitched drawings which are off to the DLI this week for their display cabinets.

They are part of a series of work which I do called "Enchanted Forest"and which I will be teaching at The Hearth on Sunday March 11th. You will learn to build up a textile collage using hand stitching, applique and embellishment. You don't need to be able to draw a forest bird or animal as I will supply you with templates and lots of lovely fabrics to choose from.
