Over the last year I have made five large patchworks/ assemblages/ quilts or call them what you will. The first three will be shown at Farfield Mill in Cumbria as part of a Textile Hub exhibition called Trio http://www.farfieldmill.org/index.php?id=howgill#c1228 which opens in June.
Sometimes people think these are quilts that I have found and worked into but actually I have put all the pieces together myself using old quilt pieces which I have over dyed or unpicked and mixing them with other precious fabrics. Anyway the here is the first one and `i will reveal the others over the coming week.
