Interesting day at Beamish getting a sneak preview at some of the objects that Tate Britain have selected to show in their major British Folk Art exhibition next summer. Here are some of my favourites.
Mandy Pattullo is a textile artist and printmaker who works from a studio in a converted manse in Northumberland. www.threadandthrift.blogspot.com documents her textile and design practice while www.mandypattullo.blogspot.com is about her interest in memory, loss and identity in relation to the Victorian cemetery.
