Paper and Print Open Studios Event

My studio will be open on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April.

You might have visited us at The Hearth before but I urge you to come again this weekend as we are making it a really special event in conjunction with Hexham Book Festival. We have invited publishers, book binders and illustrators to take part and also joining us will be the Bewick Society with a display of Thomas Bewick's work, accompanied by contemporary wood cuts by Chris Daunt. I am really excited that my studio will be given over to an exhibition of  artists' books installations from The Book Apocathery.  The book forms are shown within old suitcases and are designed to be interacted with so do come and look inside. I will be showing lots of new work too which I will blog about within the next few days.
In the church there will be a display of a facsimile of The Lindisfarne Gospels and children's storytelling on the saturday afternoon.
