Last summer I was lucky enough to be invited to teach, by Selvedge Magazine, at the atmospheric Chateau Dumas in the south of France. The students and I had a lovely time basking in the sun, being fed scrumptious food and working in the studio. They had 6 days of working with me cracking the whip but feed back was great and they all produced some lovely work in a textile collage style mixing in vintage French bits and having a day dyeing and over dyeing with the local woad.
I was asked back again this summer but the course filled up immediately and now Selvedge have asked me if I will do an EXTRA week, 5th - 12th August, so that more of you have a chance to join us at this lovely venue.
Read all about the course HERE and please consider embarking on an adventure, even with a friend, and joining me at Chateau Dumas for a spot of textile indulgence in a beautiful location where all you need to think about is what delicious morsels will be served up on the terraced next and whether you can thread your needle!
Places are expected to be snapped up quickly so contact Lizzie HERE for more information and booking.
