I have been getting work on a garden theme ready to take to The Garden Station for a small textile exhibition there in September( 8th September - 3rd November). Banqueting Hall, Jesmond Dene

A few of us from The Arts Project felt very privileged to have been invited in to the Banqueting House in the Dene. It is closed to the public because it is a bit of a ruin but it has some stunning detailing. Some artists are lucky to be allowed to work there or intervene in the space. There are still a couple of places left on the Creative Linocuts course which I shall be running August 28th - 31st with Carol Nunan at the Hearth at Horsley. Surface Decoration

Have a look at the fantastic work my students produced this weekend on the Surface Decoration course I was running at the Hearth at Horsley ( which is where I have my studio). I am a guest teacher on behalf of Horsley Printmakers. Carol and Rebecca run a wide range of printmaking courses and bring in people like me, Clare Satow and Chris Daunt to run courses too. Surface Decoration won't be available in the Autumn but if you really like these images and want to learn how to do it yourself then pester them and they will run it again!

Mood Boards

In the last few weeks since the end of my touring exhibition I have been restyling my studio in order to get back to producing a new body of work. Its always good to rehang notice boards as you see images in new conjunctions and sometimes they spark an idea. Here is the new arrangement over my desk.
