Here are some patriotic little collages I made yesterday to sell ( hopefully) at the Christmas Open Studios event at The Hearth 28/29 November ( www.thehearth.co.uk).
I love those! I love your use of sewing notions in the collages and the ephemera/collage feeling... also the suggestion that they could stay on the wall as inspiration but be raided if one ran short of some hooks and eyes or had the need for a specific button.
Mandy Pattullo is a textile artist and printmaker who works from a studio in a converted manse in Northumberland. www.threadandthrift.blogspot.com documents her textile and design practice while www.mandypattullo.blogspot.com is about her interest in memory, loss and identity in relation to the Victorian cemetery.
You can buy Mandy's work through Etsy here: www.etsy.com/shop/MandyPattullo
